EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM

EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM

Early Inclusive Intervention Programme

The Early Intervention Programme at Sunbeam Healthcare & Rehab Centre is designed for infants, toddlers, and young children who may be experiencing developmental delays, disabilities, or learning difficulties. Early support during the first years of life can have a significant impact on a child's communication, learning, behaviour, social participation, and independence.

We provide family-centred services that focus on the individual strengths and needs of each child while actively involving parents and caregivers throughout the intervention process.

Family-Centred Approach

We believe parents are essential partners in a child's development. Intervention programmes are planned collaboratively with families to ensure that goals are meaningful, practical, and relevant to the child's everyday life at home, school, and in the community.

The Importance of Early Intervention

Research shows that early identification and intervention can significantly improve developmental outcomes. Providing support during the early years helps children develop essential communication, learning, social, behavioural, and self-help skills, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Sensory Play and Development

Young children learn about the world through their senses. Sensory play activities help children explore, learn, and develop important skills related to attention, communication, movement, social interaction, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Sensory experiences support the development of:
  • Language and Communication Skills
  • Cognitive and Learning Skills
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Social Interaction
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Attention and Concentration
Our Goal

Our goal is to provide children and families with the support, guidance, and intervention needed to promote healthy development, independence, confidence, and successful participation in everyday life.
